Kelsey Haley is a textile artist based out of Portland, Maine. She received her BFA in Textile and Fashion from the Maine College of Art in 2015.
Kelsey is a lover of texture and color and implements those elements throughout her work. Exploring different mediums and techniques her work has been expressed through garments, items for the home; pillows, table runners, and wall hangings.
Kelsey is highly inspired by artists Yayoi Kusama, Mark Rothko, Sheila Hicks, Roberto Capucci, Nick Cave, Zandra Rhodes and her peers along with her travels across Europe, Galapagos Islands, and cities in the United States. Gaining knowledge of other cultures, architecture, and experiences disputes her ordinary day to day life allowing for the imagination to run wild.
Contact Kelsey if you have questions, want to collaborate, or are interested in a custom piece. She would love to hear from you!
